Ideas of food to make for Soccer Concession Stand:
Chili Soup, any kind Hot Sausage Pasta
Meatballs Chipped Ham BBQs Macaroni & Cheese Haluski
Sloppy Joes Rigatoni Pepperoni Rolls Pulled Pork
Walking Tacos Beef Stew Buffalo Chicken Dip
Anything that can be put in a crockpot (please label with your name and pick up after the games) is great. A lot of parents come straight from work and have not had a chance to eat and to have variety (not just hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza) really make our concession stand one of the best. A few years ago, there was an article in the paper about what concession stands are known best for. Shaler's got rave reviews for haluski. Also, when a parent donates a hot food item, when we sell that, it's pure profit for the Boosters.
Also, good ideas are:
- Homemade cookies (please label if these have nuts in them, due to allergies)
- Brownies (please not if they have nuts)
- Cupcakes
All these can be individually wrapped in baggies to maintain freshness and make them easy to sell.
Both Boys and Girls JV/Varsity games are electric, fun and exciting. By bringing your younger players to be a ballboy/girl, not only can they see what is in store when they get old enought to play "under the lights" and be a part of the excitement both these teams have to offer.
